Venk Modur hails from Indiana. He studied Business Administration and Theater at Fordham University in New York City. After his four years in University, he moved to Chicago to study Improvisation at the famed Second City Theater. He began working for the Improv Musical House Ensemble at the S.C.T.C. Theater in 2006. In 2008 Venk moved to Los Angeles where he secured the role of a lifetime when London-based director Ravi Kumar roped him for 'Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain', a film on the Bhopal gas tragedy that occurred in 1984. This drama will be released early 2013. Venk's next move was onto the set of NBC's 'Outsourced'. Venk booked a supporting role in the Feature Film currently titled, 'The Catepillar's Kimono'.
